ROBYN JONES

LABOR DOULA | POSTPARTUM DOULA | LACTATION SUPPORT

Hello, I’m Robyn Jones,

Hello, I’m Robyn Jones.

My role, as a Labor and Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Lactation Educator Counselor, will be to provide education, guidance, encouragement and all measures of support, in the stages of pregnancy, birth, baby and beyond.

While embracing your vision for birth, I offer flexibility and a compassionate, unbiased building block to fully support the choices, wishes and needs of every birthing client. I aim to empower parents in making informed decisions about their birth and their baby.

With the births of my own children and having worked many years assisting in OB/GYN practices, a passion for all things baby developed; And because I found my own successful breastfeeding journey to be completely rewarding, a strong desire to encourage, assist and help facilitate other mothers with breastfeeding success, blossomed.

Through pursuit of professional training, I have now allowed “all things baby,” to take over my World! I am continuously in pursuit of education, earning certifications from UCSD and Newborn Care Training Academy, while preparing to expand my Doula training through DONA. It is my current goal to sit for the Board Exam to become an IBCLC.

MY TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Labor and Postpartum Doula
  • Newborn Training Academy
  • Pursuing DONA training
  • UCSD Certified Lactation Educator Counselor

WANT TO KNOW MORE?

When I am not devoting time to birthing families and/or breastfeeding and newborn care, I have a fondness for travel, even if that means a short or semi-local, weekend getaway. I can spend countless hours immersed in books on the Civil War – I long to visit every major battlefield and attend as many reenactments as possible! But above all, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my husband, 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
